OC Athletic Massage & Training has the privilege of offering a full-spectrum infrared sauna from Sunlighten, with penetrating infrared rays and therapeutic visible color light that warms the body from within at temperatures between 110 degrees Fahrenheit and 135 F.
Why does that matter? Because you get the same (if not greater) benefits at a lower temperature than old school methods.

Things to keep in mind:
Stay hydrated! Pretty sure you (and we) could benefit from drinking more water. Regular heat therapy makes that even more important, and is a good reminder for whole body benefits across the board.
Practice makes progress. Infrared heat therapy is best served on a consistent basis, and the benefits are cumulative over time. You might notice that you don’t start sweating as quickly during your first few sessions. Do not give up on the process. Once your body gets accustomed to the HOW of infrared therapy (lower and a bit slower), you’ll notice more sweat…sooner.
